Installing Vista

How to install Windows Vista - upgrade to Windows Vista or clean installation of Windows Vista

- Start the pc.

- Close all programs

- Connect to the Internet.

- Prepare to upgrade to Windows Vista

- Insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive

- The Setup program will auto start.

- Click on Install Now

- Click Install now.

- Follow onscreen instructions

Issues with Vista installation

! If you try to start the pc with the upgrade DVD you may have problems, so start the computer by using the current operating system. Then run the Setup program.

! It is not possible to upgrade every windows operating system to Vista.

! You will need to convert the file system on the partition to NTFS.

! Vista will not install if there is insufficient space on the hard disk.
